Building a Stronger Rocky View County, Together
Hi everyone, Roc here.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had a lot of great conversations at town halls, online, on the phone, and at the doorstep. People care deeply about where Rocky View is heading. That’s what this campaign is really about and why I’ve stepped up to serve as your representative.
I live here too. I drive the same roads, hear the same trucks, and see the same wide-open beauty that makes this place special. Like you, I want to see our community grow responsibly, protect our rural way of life, build a better future for us all and make sure the people making decisions actually live with the results.
I’m running because I believe we can do better. We can have growth that makes sense. Roads that are safer. A County Administration that works efficiently for residents instead of against them. We can protect the independence that makes Rocky View unique while still working with our neighbors when it benefits us.
I’ve never been afraid of hard work or tough conversations. I believe in straight answers, honest effort, and getting results. That’s how I’ve always approached my life and my community work …..with commitment, determination and responsibility.
Rocky View County is growing, and we need leadership that grows with it. Leadership that looks ahead, not over its shoulder. Leadership that focuses on what brings us together instead of what divides us.

- I support responsible and appropriate development that balances economic growth while maintaining our quality of life in rural/agricultural areas. All industrial developments must be located in areas that are appropriately zoned.
What I've heard matters to you:
- A unified Council focused on long-term strategies and ensures effective policies are in place to build our shared future.
- No large-scale, high-intensity industrial operations in country residential or environmentally sensitive areas.
- I believe landowners have the right to bring forward appropriate development plans so that the Council, representing ALL residents in the county, can make good decisions on what is best for Rocky View County.
- Review options to reduce rural crime. This remains an issue for many of us. What can we do to improve the current situation? Let's work together to explore what is possible.
- Build infrastructure that supports the growing population and work with all levels of government to secure the required funding for the priorities in Division 4.
